Expand your collection with this light celadon jade (green) demitasse cup and saucer set. Dating to the early 1900s through 1930s, I called this piece Qing Dynasty to appease the powers that be. However, they may be after the 1912 Xinhai Revolution, so it’s early 20th century. The set overlaps the time periods. The jade is semi-translucent, bordering on transparent in some spots, as seen in the photos with the red pencil body and the black plate stand.
Whether you collect tea cups or adore Chinese and Asian art, this petite cup and saucer makes a great addition to any collection, especially if you love natural materials and textures.
Condition: Used vintage/antique. Good condition with no cracks. I have two in stock. One is in excellent condition with no chips and only minimal wear marks. The other has two small chips on the rim about 3/4 inch down from the handle on both sides, as noted in the photo collage.
Measurements:
Diameter including handle: Approx. 3 inches
Cup height: Approx. 2 1/8 inches
Saucer diameter: Approx. 4 3/4 inches
