No cracks, chips, or crazing. The bowl has a few small stains and scratches. The original manufacturer’s label is still attached.
I found this porcelain beauty wrapped in a newspaper dated 1979. The stains are likely newsprint or metal transfer from cheap costume jewelry. They may or may not come off. Given the superb condition of the original label, the raised painted flowers, and the gilding, I felt it was better to be conservative.
Made in Japan by Ardalt Lenwile after 28 April 1952, this rare blue-footed bowl features delicate gilt scrollwork and textured, hand-painted flowers.
