Take a look at this sparkly blast from the past. This is a Federal Glass Tradition’s bonbon plate in yellow glass. (Okay, the books call this color am… but some platforms have difficulty understanding the difference between color and material.)
Yes, our great-grandmothers called these bonbon plates, not candy dishes. Some stored theirs safely in a china cabinet. Others used them as catchalls by the front door. This one was a china cabinet piece.
It has no scratches and only two sharp points on the edges. Both are corners and difficult to see with the naked eye. There are a few pinprick-sized bubbles left from the manufacturing process.
