Make this Continental Victorian Uranium Glass Tazza Bowl the crown jewel of your radioactive glassware display. The lobbed opalescent green bowl is decorated with silver overlay. The silver gadrooned pedestal has an embossed heart border.
Notice the upside down photo. That’s sealing wax, which was likely used by the maker as a weight. If there are any makers marks or silver purity marks, they’re underneath that. It is solid, not plated. But I cannot verify whether it’s sterling or a lesser grade. Note, the weight blob is integral to the piece and should not be removed.
Although the piece was cleaned, it is not tarnish free.
Condition: Antique. Good. One of the lobs has a chip missing from the underside. Another has a small chip on the side. Like many silver pieces from the time period, it has a slight lean. I tried to show this with the photos. There’s a small dent in the base. See photos.
