Vintage Handmade Needlework Table Runner Centerpiece Set with Runner And Doily – Bold Embroidery Flower Design

Rescued from an estate sale, this gorgeous table runner and doily set features a hand stitched embroidered basket with flowers, French knots, and scroll work embellishment, worked on linen with delicate lace edging.

The lace edging appears to be handmade. The thread tension is definitely not perfect. However, this could be caused by rough handling over the years. The lace has picots.

Runner length: 21 1/4″

Runner width: 11 1/2″

Doily diameter: 10 1/2″

Condition: Handmade and used. Clean. A few light stains remain. Hand washed, towel blocked (not pinned) and dried. Any fraying edges were whip stitched with matching thread as a preventative measure. See photos.
