At 1064 Vintage, LLC, we understand that sometimes things look different in your space than how you imagined them. While you may still think that silver-plated Victorian dog sculpture is gorgeous, it doesn’t quite work with your mid-century aesthetic. We get it. That’s why 1064 Vintage, LLC offers a 14-day refund and return policy.
Due to the unique nature of our products, we are rarely able to offer replacements. We’ll let you know if this option is available for your item, but please don’t expect it.
If 14 days have passed since your item was delivered, the item(s) will not be refunded.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If it shipped double-boxed, you must return it double-boxed with the additional material used to prevent movement. Double boxing helps keep fragile items safe during shipping. While it can still break during the journey, we do everything we can to prevent that.
Mis-Identified Items
If you believe a reproduction item was misidentified as an original, please fill out the contact form and we will get back with you as soon as possible. We generally reply to messages within 24 hours. Please include your order number and the item name.
We humbly request that you also tell us why you think it’s not what we thought. Titles of reference books are particularly appreciated. While we have a small assortment of our own, we’re always interested in learning more so that we do not repeat our mistakes in the future.
In the event an item was misidentified, we will email you send you a paid shipping label and issue the refund, including your shipping costs, upon receipt of the item. This is the only circumstance in which we refund shipping costs.
Downloadable Products
We only refund downloadable products if you have not downloaded the item. We will verify your order’s download status via WooCommerce’s Download report prior to processing a refund. No refunds will be issued for orders showing a downloaded file. If you have an issue opening a downloaded file, please contact us.
Additional Non-Returnable Items and Partial Refunds

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Books with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
- Any items broken after delivery.
No refunds will be issued for vintage items sold sealed in their original package but returned with the package opened. For example, a vintage doll in a sealed box must be returned in the sealed box as the sealed box is a significant part of the doll’s value.
What We Need to Start a Refund
For items containing glass, ceramic, porcelain, or pottery, you must submit photos of the item in the condition that it arrived in along with your refund request.
Once we receive your refund request, we’ll send you a return shipping label for the item with its packing materials and instructions on how to repack the item so it arrives safely. For example, a teacup and saucer should be individually wrapped in bubble wrap and then tapped together with the saucer placed upside down over the top of the cup to protect the handle during shipping.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method and will be available within the time specified by your payment method provider (i.e. your bank, credit card company, etc.).
Buyer Responsible for All Shipping Costs
Any buyer paid shipping costs on your order will not be refunded. These fees cover shipping and handling costs associated with your order, not the item itself.
You will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. For a local return, please email us, and we’ll make arrangements to meet you somewhere public.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first recheck your bank account.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. Sometimes, it takes a few days for them to process a refund.
If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please email us at the email address on your invoice or fill out the contact form and we’ll check with our bank.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed or mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
To return your product, you must use the label provided by 1064 Vintage, LLC.
Returns must be shipped with the provider listed on the label we send you, which will include a tracking number and additional insurance for items valued at over $100. Do not ship returns to us via FedEx. We don’t want to badmouth any shipping companies in our return policy, but our experiences with FedEx involve squashed boxes with tire marks. For the love of vintage, please use the shipping provider on the label we sent.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach us may vary.
